Step 10: Perseverance

In this stage of our behaviour change, we need to learn to be gentle with ourselves.

We should find non-destructive ways to find happiness and to indulge a little, giving ourselves a little relief in the midst of the effort. We may also find it helpful to read about, or listen to, the stories of others who have been through something similar to, or even harder than our journey. It helps to put things into perspective.
