Steps is a 12 step journey to freedom. Try it today.
Find peace with God, peace with yourself, and peace with others.
Through the 12 Steps, we recognise our own powerlessness, choose to trust God (or a higher power), and surrender to the process. We take responsibility for our own behaviour and confess our shortcomings. And finally, we make amends with ourselves and others, and we learn how we are going to keep our newfound peace.

Everyone has their own unique reason for choosing to do a STEPS course.
STEPS uses biblical principles and is designed for both Christians and those open minded about the Christian faith to journey towards freedom together. People typically choose to work on issues such as anxiety, anger, pride, low self-esteem, lack of trust, fear of rejection, or anything else that is holding them back in life.

Try STEPS for yourself —come along to one of our free Introduction Sessions.
Take the opportunity to ask questions and hear stories from people who have done STEPS before. There's no obligation to sign up to the course - just come and hear what it's all about. Our next Introduction Sessions are in September 2025 - click below to find out more.

If you'd like to run a STEPS course, it is always good to first experience the course for yourself.
We offer the opportunity to sign up to one of our online courses, whether one of our General Online Courses, or, for church leaders, the Lead Pastor Course.
Whilst it is certainly helpful to have experienced the process for yourself, it is not a requirement and we can fully equip and support you to facilitate a group whilst also going through the process yourself for the first time - we have seen this happen and the outcomes are very encouraging. For those who haven't done STEPS before, we do advise that you read the Training Manual, get in touch with one of our STEPS Coaches, and attend or listen to the Facilitator Training available - all of which are freely available.

We provide you with one-to-one coaching and all the resources you need to run STEPS in your own community.
If you’re interested in running STEPS in a small group or at your church, find out more about the personal support we offer.
